Welcome to the Center for Musculoskeletal Research located at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We specialize in biomedical engineering with focus in the orthopedics industry. Our research includes computational methods in biomechanics, clinical research in biomechanics, advanced wireless technologies for medical applications including ultra wideband (UWB), MEMS sensors, wireless in vivo medical sensors, and advanced electronic systems for medical diagnostics including ultrasound, vibrational analysis, and inertial in vivo tracking for registration and bone morphing applications.
